Bauers collection aims to deconstruct the notion of timeless pieces, by disclosing their ways of being stored in the design itself. The statues of the Antikensammlung share a similar fate: gestures solidified in gypsum for eternity. By juxtaposing alive moving bodies, we go on a journey of self discovery: What does it mean to be a body, to exist in space, time, clothing?
